Pluit Urban Village Head, Yoel Sibarani, admitted that street vendors existence had disturbed the water channel maintenance.

“We have warned them by giving letters. But the ignored it,” he said, Wednesday (10/12).

In order to prevent street vendors back occupying the water channel, his side has cooperated with Fishery and Port Management Unit (UP3) to avoid using manholes for water channel.

“It not only prevents street vendors, but also eases water channel maintenance,” he closed.
